GREEN LANTERN

The Green Lanterns are an intergalactic police force that work for the Guardians of Oa. Those of the Green Lantern Corps use rings known as Green Lantern Power Rings that channel the users willpower through the Green Light of Will to create constructs and to perform tasks they want the ring to do. Those power rings are known to be one of the most powerful weapons in the DC Universe and only those with an immense ability to overcome fear as well as immense willpower. There are thousands of members in the Corps. Each Green Lantern has their own sector to protect, some share a sector with other members. The most notable sector is Sector 2814, which includes Planet Earth. Hal Jordan is the son of Martin Jordan and his wife, Jessica Jordan and is the first human to be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps and one of the Green Lanterns of Sector 2814. Before becoming a Green Lantern, he was a test pilot operating at Ferris Air in Coast City. The Green Lanterns of Sector 2814 include: Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, and Kyle Rayner. Hal's feats included flying a green energy contruct of a plane so fast, it nearly entered the Speed Force (The Source of The Flash and other Speedsters' powers) and creating contsructs of the Justice league with their abilities.
